I week to go!!

I've been a bit rubbish with my blog lately.
Just had other things on my mind and to do!!
Well it's a week till I'm off to New York.
Excited, nervous, but mostly thrilled for the opportunity to spend time with an old friend and others I haven't seen in a long time.

I will be starting a new blog documenting my time there.
I'll post the details in a few days.

Here's a bad picture of the Chrysler Building.
Also a sketch of a dog called Bill.

MGMT - Siberian Breaks
Plaid - Itsu

More coloured squares!

Been making more brooches in between other things.
Enjoying the process and looking forward to sending them off to the shop.
Gotta get planning that trip!
I would like a netbook, but I'm unsure.
Seem's like a lame excuse for a laptop.
But it is far more convenient.
Hmmmm.
I'll have a think.

Associates - Party Fears 2.
The only song at the wedding I wished Krista had played, no grumbles other than that!!
And this - Labial - Max Tundra

Oh, one more thing!

After much deliberation it's now official.
In 3 weeks time I head off to New York for,
yep, 5 and a half weeks!!!!!

Primarily to help out Mr Copperwheat, who will be showing at New york Fashion week.
It will be his 3rd show.
The Copperwheat collection is just getting better and better.
I'm delighted for him and Lee and in awe of their hard work and dedication!
What an opportunity to see behind the scenes.
A trip of a life time.

A big shout going out to Mr Hamilton-Chambers for not minding that I'm off for such a long time.
Cheers Mr.
You know all the rest so I won't say anymore.

I leave on the 7th September, so I might have a few drinks with people before I head off.

This actually scares me a little!

Life getting in the way of blogging!

Well, again it's been a while, sorry!
Lots of things happening, which is good,
but no time to update this.
Still I'm ready for action now.
What have I been up to?
Last week, I went to M.A.D.E. in Cirencester.
Where, after meeting Louise and Sheena, (ladies who run the shop) my cards and brooches will be stocked by them. Great!
Then helping a friend with work for 100% Design.
Gill Hewitt is the talented ladies name, she makes decorative sound absorbing panels for interiors.

Then a meeting with a lovely lady called Amy who has recently opened Bill and Eddie in Clifton!
And I am pleased to say that Studio Legohead greeting cards will be stocked there also!

Then off to Burgess Hill to witness the marriage of Colin and Nic!
Lovely time had, lots of dancing, catching up with friends, meeting new ones and generally having a splendid time!

Here are some images of the new brooches I've been making.
And a picture of the happy couple!

Coloured squares to wear!

Have a meeting on Tuesday at M.A.D.E. in Cirencester.
Showing some of my work, including some brooches.
The brooches that I had on sale at Best In Show went down well.
So, I decided to make more.
I now have a lovely box of laser cut perspex squares.
They look a delight all stacked up together.
Here are a few of the new brooches.
I enjoy the act of assembling them.

Happy Sunday.

Weird Al Yankovic - Polkarama (I felt like I might go crazy)!!

Too long between posts!

Yep, too long between posts.
But plenty going on.
For starters.
My cards are now in Scarlet Vintage.
(Thanks to the lovely Debbie for making room for me).
Been doing some more sketching.
Have another commission to do and my cushion designs should hopefully be printed next week.
Other stuff's happening too,
but I'll fill you in later.

Watched some Big Train last night.
Didn't get into it previously, but now I like!!
This is great.

Studio Legohead Website Update!

It's not quite finished.
Well, It's not finished.
I'm too impatient to wait.
So here is Studio Legohead in an uncompleted state!

I missed this man yesterday at Field Day.
This was a friends quote on watching the event -
"Does he have a real job? We're just watching him have a laugh up there."
Brilliant, who wouldn't want to get paid to do that!
