I had the pleasure a while back of drawing Miles for the lovely Christine.
Christine is a lady of many talents.
Not only does she have the wonderful online shop Lama.
Christine also guest writes for Dog Milk and also has the fabulous site Miles To Style.

Tuesdays Offerings!

So I had 2 painitng commissions to do last week.
Painting is not something that comes completely natural to me, but it's always good to push yourself.
Think I enjoy using paint to creat backgrounds and pattern.
So here are my offerings from last night and today!

This weekend LCD Soundsystem has been helping me through.
Makes me think of a modern style conga, which makes the song even better!

 

 

 

Brutus is the Best

So I had the pleasure of drawing Brutus a few weeks back!
What an utter joy.
I actually wish he was my dog!!!
But he's not, so I'll just have to be satisfied with owning a photo of him.

Ready For My Close-Up

Just realised how nice the marks are when blown up!
Also it gives the image a completely different feel.
Something I think I will pursue!

After a long stint drawing for others, today I did a drawing for myself!
A ten minute sketch, part blind drawing, part observational.
Feels so nice, to draw quickly.
Been listening to some old music as well as new.

But this and this have been played maybe too many time.

Here's a chiauhua with some attitude, rocking a 24 carat chain!
