Mascot Studio's 13th Annual Dog Show!

So it looks like I will have some work showing at Mascot Studio's 13th Annual Dog Show.
How lovely.
Anne Watkins, another artist featured in Martha Stewarts Holiday Gift Guide gave me the heads up to contact Peter the owner of Mascot Studios and after a few e-mails it looks like I will be part of the show!
Very excited, just wish I could head back to New York, I love New York.
Maybe later in the year.

It looks like there may be a few embroidery's being shown.

The Small Things - Make Someone Happy

Now I've never been much of a Valentines follower, but I do know it's nice to be told that someone loves you, or at least thinks you are somewhat special or is just appreciative for your friendship.
You might not even really be aware of this, and when told, it can mean the world.

If you know of a person that could do with being told, for Valentines day or not, how about a customised portrait/pattern!

Portraits ordered before Valentines Day will be filled with pattern and colour or just plain and simple, whatever takes your fancy.
And if orders are in too late to receive them for the special occasion then I will be happy to oblige a gift voucher on which you can add your personal message and the person in question can redeem at a later date.

MidWeek Sketch

Needed to get the pens out and doodle for a bit.
This was prompted by the joyous feeling that tidying my pen draw brought on!!
It's the small things hey.

A certain person had got me listening to this, it's good to work to.
And thanks to my new car stereo I can listen to Prince really loud, and sing a long!
My guilty pleasure.

Improvising!

At the minute I have limited drawing tools.
A 0.5 fine liner, A5 pad, camera and a computer.
No pens, tape or scanner has meant I've been forced to use Photoshop to create an image!
So, with my new and rather lovely camera, and my old, and still rather lovely Mac I have been playing around to create an illustration!
Here it is!

Gift Vouchers.

Happy New Year!!

So just before Xmas, due to too many commission inquiries to take on, I started offering Gift Vouchers.
These come in the form of a voucher that is e-mailed to the giver of the portrait!
After payment and conversation has taken place these are the steps!

Step 1 - You tell me who it's for and what you would like the message to read.
Step 2 - I create a personalised voucher with your message attached.
Step 3 - You present your gift receiver with the voucher.
Step 4 - They contact me directly with images of their four legged friend and any further requirements.
Step 5 - I complete the portrait and send it directly to them!

So if you are after something personal for someone special, this could be the gift for you.
I have decided to offer this option as sometimes the time it will take me to complete and post means that it may pass the birthday/anniversary/wedding day!
So now it doesn't have to be a problem.
