Jubilee Portraits - As it's my birthday too theres a discount!

We all know what big day is approaching, the Queens Diamond Jubilee!
And my birthday too : )
I was born on the the Queens Silver Jubilee, the day of our street party back in Luton.
So to celebrate me turning 35 and HRH having her big day too, I'll be doing Jubilee Portraits at $230.

This will be from now till my birthday on the 8th of June!

The Chihuahua is nearly done : )

Spent the week, in between teaching and commissions working on this little Madame.
She is for my Supermarket Sarah Wall, which I am photographing early next week.
Looking forward to it : )

So as well as this cheeky chihuahua I will have prints, original drawings, cards, embroideries and brooches!

Working On My Supermarket Sarah Wall

If you are not already aware of Supermarket Sarah go take a peek.
It all started in her living room and spread to bars, cafes and Selfrideges.
The online walls are a great way to showcase work, have a mini exhibition and take part in something that quite frankly I wish I'd thought of : )

Today I am getting back on my wonderful Irish Singer sewing machine, it's been too long!
I'll be using this chihuahua as my starting point.
I've named her Bella, not sure why, I imagine her as French, she says Bonjour!

Kitsch Cat and tributes : )

I've just added more prints to my Etsy Shop!
This time more felines and florals are present.
I've always been a fan of everything kitsch, so what better than some bright florals and grinning cats!

My love for bright, sometimes tacky, objects and imagery stemmed from my late Nan.
Her house was filled with glittery, often dusty, kitsch ornaments, which as a child I was fascinated by.. still am I guess.

So I can't think of anything more fitting than a series of prints in tribute to her colourful collections and personality.
: )

Nothing better to work a long to than Kraftwerk too.

Coco Crowned Queen : )

Today I have been working on my commission of Coco, Jubilee Style!
Coco is the dog of owner, Jenny at The Paw Seasons dog hotel in Bristol.
I have visited there several times and I'm always overwhelmed by the joy that Jenny gets from her job.
The pooches seem to be having a fabulous time too.
