I'm finding these drawings a lovely distraction and very therapeutic.
The appeal of objects, once loved, disowned, re-found and loved again, delights me.
Busy creating scenarios and imagining their pasts, fascinates me. X X X

The Loved And Once Loved - Objects Of Desire, Of Sorts

There's a massive draw towards vintage for me of late.
I've always been a collector/hoarder of tat. Well tat to some, glorious objects to me.

Years ago I did a series of drawings of ornaments/objects I owned, with lots of white space.
I have always been a fan of lots of white space.
Perhaps the portraits I'm doing of humans, has aided this return.
Today, completing this drawing, and two long tailed tits sitting less than two feet on my window sill have made me very happy.

This weather! I won't go on, but where has the sun gone?
Well if it won't come to us, we'll have to dress up and add some brightness.
I've discovered some fabulous vintage shops recently.
I'm a sucker for a bit of costume jewellery, as is Trixie below!

A Mantelpiece Meet-Up - Ceramic Lovers

This Mantelpiece Meet-up is a casual affair.
Two friends enjoying each others company, and discussing art.
That of Mr Lichtenstein to be exact. Of which I had the pleasure of seeing lots of at the weekend at The Tate Modern.
Bold colour and graphic lines are right up my street, and the ceramic duos. : D x
