Ruby In The Flowers

I always feel very honoured when I get commissions to illustrate a clients canine friend that is no longer with us.
I'm always a little nervous that I do justice to the beloved four legged friend. So I'm thrilled when I get a lovely response to the portrait.

This is Ruby, surrounded by bright florals, spots and with her favourite 'cookie' in mouth : ) x A true darling x

    Just precious! I love how her favorite cookie is included in the portrait. I know she is missed.

      Isn't she. I always like to make them as personal to the client as possible. I was asked to include her favourite 'cookie'.
      Such a nice thing to do x
