Amongst The Bunting!

I have spent the last 2 days sat at my desk.
E-mailing, art-working and getting a sore backside : )

I  received my new prints through the post today!
They look great and dead excited to photograph them and get them out there for sale.
Felines, florals, canines and pattern will feature.

Her Majesty Says Hello!

Jubilee Portrait, Buster Cole Style!

This week I have been looking for models!
I was pointed in the direction of Buster Cole, Cheryl's dog.
He's a sweet thing, so why not use him as inspiration.

I've also been shown the wonderful website of Maverick Bulldogs!
I love the addition of Lionel Richie added as background music, fabulously camp.
As well there is also Peticula, a British company specialising in luxury cat and dog beds.
Go look!! Fabulous pictures on both sites.

Prague was lovely, great company, great beer and beautiful buildings.

Soon to be prints!

Hello!

This morning I've been working on commissions and artworking.
This will be for a run of prints I will soon be selling!
These will be a mixture of florals, canines and felines based on my original illustrations.

Not so much sun in my flat today so the pics could be better, but still ok : )

Sorting things out!

Just having a sort out and getting orgainsed!
Always feels nice to have a tidy up.

I've been going through some of my sketchbooks and found these!
A series of illustrations of some friends as dogs.
Different elements of their personality being captured in either the type of dog I choose, their surroundings or both.
Not sure if they would appreciate it or not, but they are all very dear to me.

I wonder if other folks would like this kind of character depiction!
Might offer a service : )
