Hope you've had a great weekend.
It was the other half's birthday at the weekend, so we headed to Cardiff.
A fantastic 7 course tasting meal was indulged in. My first ever meal of such extravagance!
And very lovely it was too.
I think it will be a while before there's another one of those, I'll have to get saving my pennies ; )
Rather than a standard card, I decided to creat a 3d one.
Here's the grumpy bulldog that gave the birthday greeting.

Ps. Cards/images of similar kinds can be ordered on request x

Her Majesty Says Hello!
I am now taking orders for Jubilee Custom Portraits.
I'm sure you already treat your four legged friend like royalty anyway!!!
But, if you feel like they really do not get all the attention the deserve, what better than a portrait of them crowned and framed in all their finery?
You can find all the details about the portraits on my website.
As well as a gallery of images.
I look forward to meeting all your canine and feline Royal Highness's soon.
Have a great Monday.

Sunday Night Doodle.
After a lovely weekend in Bath a sketch to bring me into Monday.
A lovely few days of relaxing, walking, talking and seeing an old and wonderful friend!
Conversations about Crocs, journalism and JLS over drinks and crisps, really nothing more pleasant, believe it or not!!
Thanks to Steve, Lara and Sam for a fabulous, yet simple Saturday night.
Today saw me setting up my Mantelpiece for the exhibition which opens tomorrow, going for a run along the canal and generally learning how to relax! (Something that has not been a default setting of mine!)
The Horrors and The Pointer Sisters, two things I've listened to today!
A beefy bulldog for friends in England and The States. x x x

Hamilton is quite frankly a dude!
I had the utter delight of drawing Hamilton last week.
What a total beauty to draw.
The owner was thrilled with the illustration.
I must admit that I do have a nice job.
Chatting with people about a four legged friend they adore.
Then drawing them, then getting paid!!
What a pleasure.
Long may it last.
Here he is.
