It's been a while! New Collages x

It's been a while, but I'm still around.
More so on Instagram these days.
You can find me here.

I've been creating some collages.
Colour and shape have always been a favourite of mine.
And collage has always been a big part of my creative path.

So here's some new stuff.

More Colour, More Pattern

I intend for 2015 to be filled with more colour and pattern.
And of course, it goes without saying canines.

Enjoy the remainder of the holidays x x x

Floral Friday!

It's no good.
I try to go all wintery but my brain just won't let me.
I've been working on some new florals, and I'm enjoying creating them very much.

Here's a few. Happy Floral Friday!

Decorate With Flowers, Tigerprint And Some Gardening

Hello and welcome to a new week.
A few weeks back I entered the Tigerprints Floral Wrap competition, where I was a runner up!
My prize was the fabulous book Decorate With Flowers by Holly Becker and Leslie Shewring.
Thank you all above : )

So armed with the book and a garden that resembled a small jungle (we have a bamboo issue) I managed to cobble together a mini bouquet from the flowers I could find.
They are now happily sitting on my desk and being used as inspiration for some drawings and pattern making.
Here's some of the results.

Embroidered Floral Doodle

Well after too long a break I decided to fire up the machine again.
It's such a joyous thing, I forget about its wonder.
So decided to try out a Floral Doodle in stitch.

I see new work on the horizon : D x x x

Blooming Marvellous!

I cannot tell you how much I've been enjoying the Lilla Rogers MATS course.
The amount of work I've been producing has been fantastic and I'm developing my ideas more and more.
Just sad that next week will be the end of the course.
Still one more week to enjoy and push myself.

This week was Wall Art, and I was given the colours red and orange to play with.
Below are my two pieces. The second is my final assignment piece. I've already had an order for one as a print! Nice x x x
