Exciting new beginnings!

So this week I feel I feel I've achieved alot.
Details to follow at a later date, but for now.....
I'm back on the Irish!!!
It's been a while, I'm a little rusty, but a good effort for such a long time away from my trusted machine.

Like my lovely friend Claire Loder, it's time to start some new work.
I feel I have the head sapce and time to devote to it now.
So watch this space.
This isn't a cushion, yet.
I've got more to do, but for now, it's as it is.
Might make some fabric ornaments, we shall see.

Claire and I.

So me and lovely Claire Loder are having a show in November.
it's going to be at the Showcase in Clerkenwell.
It's called The Making Of Us.

The other week we had a drawing session which was tons of fun.
Made me feel like a student again, never a bad thing!

So this is us with our first lot of drawings.

Super Dooper!

So the Art Supermarket was at the weekend.
Was great to be a part of it and to spend time with Miss Loder and get to know Lucy a bit better too!
The place looked ace, so thanks to everyone that played a part in making it so fabulous!
Lots of fine goodies were on offer, some of which I now have in my possession.
Cheers to everyone that bought a card, postcard or brooche, I hope you enjoy!

Production continues

So today I have been continuing my making for 'Art Supermarket'.
As well as packiaging my drawings, I finished off my brooches.
Didn't make as many as I wanted to, but sometimes you can only do what you can do!
Still not a bad show.
Recieving my cards, postcards and business cards tomorrow.
So more packaging tomorrow evening.
I would rather be going to this though.
Claire told me about her, she sound like a very interesting character.
