It's been a busy week for commissions and project work.

I had the pleasure of creating a portrait of Paddy, who turns 14 very soon.
Apparently he's a fan of a flower crown.
Who am I to deny such things.

New - Floral Doodle Greeting Cards

Hello and happy wednesday to you.

The sun is making a rare and most welcome appearance here.
I must say it's long overdue. Spring is finally showing it's face.

So to beckon it on even more I'm introducing my new Floral Doodle greeting card series.
At present there is 4, but there will be more coming very soon.

They go a treat with my existing floral doodle prints ( Oh Joy! is a fan and we all know she's got good taste ;)

Floral Friday!

It's no good.
I try to go all wintery but my brain just won't let me.

Decorate With Flowers, Tigerprint And Some Gardening

Hello and welcome to a new week.
A few weeks back I entered the Tigerprints Floral Wrap competition, where I was a runner up!
My prize was the fabulous book Decorate With Flowers by Holly Becker and Leslie Shewring.
Thank you all above : )

So armed with the book and a garden that resembled a small jungle (we have a bamboo issue) I managed to cobble together a mini bouquet from the flowers I could find.
They are now happily sitting on my desk and being used as inspiration for some drawings and pattern making.
Here's some of the results.

New Floral Doodles To Beckon Spring

In a bid to beckon spring on that little bit quicker, I've added some new Floral Doodle prints over at my Etsy shop.
I'm a big fan of colour and pattern and reckon that you can never have enough of either.

Cut From The Same Cloth

In between commissions I've been playing with floral patterns and canine/feline line drawings.
Merging the two and erasing things as I go.

These two are 'Cut From The Same Cloth' although one doesn't entirely look pleased about the situation ; )

Floral Fancy

Hello there,
Hope you're having a fabulous week so far.

Mines been good and knocking that glass of wine with dinner on the head for the past 11 days, I'm feeling pretty chipper! Next I might try giving up meat for a month.
Some changes ahead, nothing major, but curious to see how I feel.

As my lovely mother says, "your health is your wealth". I totally agree.

Blooming Marvellous!

I cannot tell you how much I've been enjoying the Lilla Rogers MATS course.
The amount of work I've been producing has been fantastic and I'm developing my ideas more and more.
Just sad that next week will be the end of the course.
Still one more week to enjoy and push myself.

This week was Wall Art, and I was given the colours red and orange to play with.
Below are my two pieces. The second is my final assignment piece. I've already had an order for one as a print! Nice x x x

More Floral Doodles!

I came upstairs last night to write an e-mail and got distracted and started working on a collage!
Florals will always be a favourite of mine, as will a bit of cutting and pasting.

Nice way to be distracted.

Italian Greyhound Repeat

I've so been enjoying creating these patterns.
Also there is the bonus of getting lovely feedback from people regarding them.

It's been a productive and full on day here.
Two commissions completed, another packaged off and sent to Houston, Texas, house hunting!
