New Paints And Coloured Backgrounds

Hello!
It's been a while. I can only apologise ; )
I recently bought some acrylic paints. I've not really used them since my uni/college days.
Pens, and collage took over once I left.

It's so nice to put colour on colour again. It's hard with just pen.
So here is my first dabbling back into painting.
Staying true to my floral/plant/abstract marks.

A January Bloom

It feels like an age since I've been able to draw.
So it's so nice to get some time today to create a floral doodle.

After a block of teaching seeing so many creatives producing interesting and inspiring ideas, I'm ready again to get playing.

Floral Doodles To Inspire Embroidery

I'm working on some new Floral Doodles, that will go on to inspire more embroidery.
The plan, is to have a range of new prints and embroidery pieces for April.

I came upstairs last night to write an e-mail and got distracted and started working on a collage!
Florals will always be a favourite of mine, as will a bit of cutting and pasting.

Nice way to be distracted.
