I think I prefer it this way, a bit wonky!

A January Bloom

It feels like an age since I've been able to draw.
So it's so nice to get some time today to create a floral doodle.

After a block of teaching seeing so many creatives producing interesting and inspiring ideas, I'm ready again to get playing.

Heres to a productive few weeks ahead.

House Plants And A Bit Of Patchwork

I'm terrible with house plants.
My record is keeping 3 alive for nearly over a year and a half, and that's been a struggle.
I either over love them or neglect them.
I must try better.
A collage version will last far longer in my hands I'm sure!

New Floral Patterns

I've been a way a while.
Well not as such, but from my blog.
I've been busy with commissions, creating new patterns and coming up with ideas.

First on the list of things was to create some floral patterns.
Now I just have to wait for the fabric samples to arrive.

hello, sorry for the absence.
I've been busy working on commissions and in the process of packing.

Yep, I'm moving again. Not my choice, but a change is as good as a rest. So they say!
Fitting in a little bit of time for some drawing with no other reason than I wanted to.
Escapism I think they call it.

Well, have a super wednesday, and think of me whilst I'm waist high in boxes ; )

Watercolour Vintage Dolls And Canines

Hope you've had a good week.
The Lilla Rogers Bootcamp course restarted this week. Very pleased as it's always inspiring.
The topic this time round is vintage dolls/toys.
I've decided to use a medium that I haven't used before, watercolour.

So far I'm very much enjoying the results and theme.
There's plenty of scope for colour and kitschness, always a good thing.
