Spring Is Upon Us

I won't lie, it's so nice to see and feel the sun.
I don't mind winter, but lets face it, the sun and longer, brighter days are a lot nicer.

Things are warming up here and feeling like Spring is upon us.

New Floral Patterns

I've been a way a while.
Well not as such, but from my blog.
I've been busy with commissions, creating new patterns and coming up with ideas.

First on the list of things was to create some floral patterns.
Now I just have to wait for the fabric samples to arrive.

Mutts & Hounds Collaboration

I'm so thrilled to be able to announce my recent collaboration with Mutts & Hounds.

For those of you that aren't aware of M&H (where have you been ; ), they are a British company who make "stylish and quintessentially English products for hound and home".

Founded in 2011 by Laura Gough, the company and range of products has grown and received much attention and recognition. As well as the products being available in a number of boutiques up and down the country they can also be found in Harrods of Knightsbridge, Selfridges and John Lewis.

Needless to say I was totally thrilled when approached by Laura to design the repeat.

The print contains some of Mutts & Hounds favourite breeds, which include - a Bulldog, French Bulldog, Labrador, Fox Terrier, Beagle and a Border Terrier. The design in available in two colours and on a variety of products that include, donut dog bed, cushions, tea towels and tote bags to name a few.

As well as the fabric, I was also commissioned to produce two canine portraits that would be used as hangers for Mutts & Hounds new scarf range that will be on sale 1st August.

Pop over and take a peek at the new range as well as all the other stylish products for canines and humans.

Playing With Pattern

It's taken me a while but I've got round to doing a few new repeats and ordering some samples.
I've really loved drawing the vintage dolls and toys for my MATS course.

So I thought I'd take the opportunity to turn some of them into a repeat.
More to come soon, this time with canines.

A Mix of Gorgeous Grumps - Repeat Pattern With Canines

Hello!

I'm back from fantastic Berlin ( I'll post some pictures later).
I had a fabulous time, but I'm also happy to be back working.

I've been meaning to create more repeat patters, especially canine related.
This one is a mixed breed repeat, featuring bull terriers, boxer dogs, and bulldogs.
Some of my favourite grumpy faces to draw.

This week as well as commissions I've been diving in to my new assignment with the Lilla Rogers Bootcamp.
This week the theme is jelly, moulds and sweet treats!
I'm enjoying the colours, patterns and imagery that this 70's mainly eye candy has to offer.
