Dolled Up Dogs - New Greeting Card Collection

Dolled Up Dogs, with pink cheeks, eyeshadow and of course some patterned accessories.

My love of canines and pattern has continued with these new illustrations.
What started off as a few sketches, evolved into a new collection of greeting cards.

The list of canines so far are - pug, dachshund, bulldog, american bulldog, bull terrier, shiba, fox terrier, maltese, japanese chin and standard poodle.
All pooches will either have eyeshadow, blushed cheeks or a fancy neck piece, perhaps all three in some cases. Completely Dolled Up!

There will be more breeds being added to the list very soon.
Any requests will be happily taken, and of course if you fancy a Custom Portrait of your pooch drop me an e-mail at info@studio-legohead.com

A Mix of Gorgeous Grumps - Repeat Pattern With Canines

Hello!

I'm back from fantastic Berlin ( I'll post some pictures later).
I had a fabulous time, but I'm also happy to be back working.

I've been meaning to create more repeat patters, especially canine related.
This one is a mixed breed repeat, featuring bull terriers, boxer dogs, and bulldogs.
Some of my favourite grumpy faces to draw.
More to follow.

Have a super Tuesday x x x

A request to create a canine in a similar style to the gorgeous grump on my Facebook homepage.
Resulted in this.

Feeling Appreciative - A Terrier Sends Some Love x

Today was one of those days when you feel so appreciative for what you do.

Firstly I'm moving soon, to a beautiful city, to be with someone special and excited for new adventures.
Then I get a lovely message from someone I really admire about my work.
I then get to chat to a friend I have made via my work. She doesn't live in the UK, we've never met in person, but who brightened my day.
My mum calls to tell me the injured pigeon hasn't got a broken wing and the wildlife vet says it will be fine after a few days on some antibiotics. Yay!
I get to draw for a living, which is pretty damn good.
And you just never know what will happen next. That's a good day x x x

Sending some Terrier love.

Midweek sketch.

Having withdrawals from drawing.
Seeing all the students again after summer makes me want to be creative too!
So much has happened over the holidays, all good.
Lots of places visited, friends made and plans for more adventures in the future.
What could be nicer.

Here's a quick sketch of a Bull Terrier, with added pattern and colour.
