Dolled Up Dogs - New Greeting Card Collection

Dolled Up Dogs, with pink cheeks, eyeshadow and of course some patterned accessories.

My love of canines and pattern has continued with these new illustrations.
What started off as a few sketches, evolved into a new collection of greeting cards.

The list of canines so far are - pug, dachshund, bulldog, american bulldog, bull terrier, shiba, fox terrier, maltese, japanese chin and standard poodle.
All pooches will either have eyeshadow, blushed cheeks or a fancy neck piece, perhaps all three in some cases. Completely Dolled Up!

There will be more breeds being added to the list very soon.
Any requests will be happily taken, and of course if you fancy a Custom Portrait of your pooch drop me an e-mail at info@studio-legohead.com

Pop over to my Etsy shop to see more x x x

Mantelpiece Meet-Ups - Second Thoughts

Someone seems to be having doubts about their decision.
On second thoughts, perhaps they were too hasty.
It appears all is not lost.........

Nonsense Canine Patterns

This week I have had to do a lot of artworking, necessary, but a bit dull.
So to combat this I created a few nonsense canine patterns.

The first Boston Terrier Bowties and Corgi Check.

Have a lovely weekend. Enjoy x x x

A Little Japanese Chin Cheer!

This year I have great plans ( don't we all in January!).
But I don't want them to fall by the wayside, I feel inspired to do more.
I want to get more active and engaged online and sociably with friends.
Be far more creative and push myself, and rediscover skills I have and have not used for a while.
So, so far the week has started well, I achieved what I set out to do and more!

Hope yours has been a good one too. x
Sending a bit of Japanese Chin Cheer.

A Return With Some Spots

For a little while now my scanner/printer has been unresponsive to my vintage computer!
The problem was solved this week with great joy.
So I am able to scan again.
I didn't realise how important it was to my work, so I'm delighted that I can now draw, scan and create. The little things that make us happy hey!

So on the returned use of such technology here's Walter.
I think the name may have come from watching far too much breaking Bad of late.

Have a fabulous Wednesday. x x x x

Dogs To Download And Dress Up!

Hello,
Recently I was asked to do a few dogs to dress up for Bowowow's advent calendar.
Bernie the Pug and Maude the Beagle were the models for this.

Bernie is more of the casual guy, bobble hats, and wooly jumpers.
Where as Maude like a few nice labels to wear! A Donna Wilson scarf, Mr Soft Tops jumper, and an Abandon Ship, Digby T-shirt.
All of which would make superb Xmas gifts : D x

So feel free to download and dress up!

Have a fabulous weekend.

Working With Waggo

I recently had the utter delight of being asked to produce some greeting cards for Waggo.
Waggo are a Brooklyn based company founded by Regine Raab, who previously worked at several fashion houses. This is very obvious by the great style that Waggo has on all it's products.

"As an avid shopper for her dog, Benny, she realized there were some things missing from her favorite pet stores. Surrounded by generic merchandise and boilerplate bone and paw print designs, she thought there must be a better way. She decided to develop products that provide style and comfort for her and her dog."

I can happily say they were a joy to work with, and are thrilled with the outcome.
Having spent 5 weeks in Brooklyn a few years back, I'd love to return, enjoy New York again and meet some people that I've had the pleasure to work with.

Maybe next year!!
